Don’t Drink … Gamble!
If you like to have a beverage every so often, keep your money out of the casino if you plan to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Leave your evening bag, your wallet, and leave all cash, plastic credit and checkbooks back at the hotel. Pack only the cash you anticipate to use on beverages, tipping and few dollars you intend to squander and keep the remainder behind.
Cynical? Absolutely not. Just realistic. You may well experience a success following a intoxicated night out with your comrades and be blessed enough to catch a 25 minute roll at a smokin craps game. Hang on to that story seeing that it’s as brief as it gets if you always consume alcohol and wager. The pair simply don’t mix.
Keeping your money out of the casino is a little dramatic, but preventative actions for drastic actions is necessary. If you wager to profit, then don’t drink and play. If you are able to afford to blow your money without a concern, then drink all the complimentary beer your stomach are able to handle, but don’t pack credit cards and chequebooks to throw into the mix of following losses after your drunken self loses all the cash!
Allow me to carry this 1 step further. Don’t drink and then jump on to the internet to wager in your favorite internet casino either. I enjoy a drink from the coziness of my condo, but since I am hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep credit cards at my fingertips, I can’t consume alcohol and gamble.
Why? Although I don’t drink to excess, when I drink, it is definitely enough to cloud my common sense. I bet, so I do not drink alcohol when betting. If you are a drinker, don’t bet at the same time. Both make for a ferocious, and expensive, cocktail.
